The Coffee Book Tag

This is so fitting cause I hate coffee (don't kill me some of us are special like that) but I love books so my very intelligent brain thinks this is good idea.

I just wanna talk about books, okay? Stop judging me and leave me alone. Actually, don´t. It´d be pretty awesome if you read my post first.

Obviously no one tagged me cause I have no friends. HAHAHAHAHA *hysterical laughing/crying* I like to tell myself it’s just because I’m new on this whole blogging thing. But seriously if you wanna be friends, I’d be really happy to extend my HUGE social life.

Ok now the actual tag. K love yaaa

BLACK

NAME A SERIES THAT´S TOUGH TO GET INTO BUT HAS HARDCORE FANS

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. This is on a lot of people's favourites list and, as I said before, I'm special like that and just don´t get it. Everyone says it´s slow in the beginning but it gets a lot better and I should just keep reading. So I did and I tried so hard. I read the first one (it was ok but meh) and I even started the second one but I was lost after the first 5 chapters.
It´s ok if you hate me now. I understand. But you might not like a book I love so don´t worry revenge is comingggg

PEPPERMINT MOCHA

NAME A BOOK THAT GETS MORE POPULAR DURING THE WINTER OR A FESTIVE TIME OF YEAR

I´m gonna be weird and go for a "Halloween themed" book. I don´t even know... People seem to really love reading Northanger Abbey in that period and I love reading it anytime. Honestly, Jane Austen´s books are the best and this one does have a really Halloweeny feel (now that I´m a blogger, I´m totally allowed to invent words, right?).

HOT CHOCOLATE

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE CHILDREN´S BOOK?

Matilda by Roald Dahl. I just don´t think there´s anything not to love about this book. It´brings back so many memories from when I was a SMOL NAIVE BOOKWORM-TO-BE. It´s got a girl who´s smart, reads books, and stands up to her teachers and parents (which I totally did back then DUHHH).
INSTANT LOVEEEE

DOUBLE SHOT OF ESPRESSO

NAME A BOOK THAT KEPT YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT FROM START TO FINISH

I don´t think there´s any need for words on this one. Six of Crows was just so much more than I expected and it became one of  my favourites from the first pages. I would love to assume you´ve read it but IF you haven´t, JUST DO IT! (sorry I had to say it). THE HEIST, PEOPLEEEE!

STARBUCKS

NAME A BOOK YOU SEE EVERYWHERE

Strange the Dreamer. It's everywhere, okay? Everyone is talking about how amazing it is and everyone HAS it. And I don´t. And I want it soooooooooooo much. Laini Taylor´s writing is too good and I want more of it but I live in Romania and it´s really hard to get new releases here (don´t even get me started, I could rant about it for days). It´s fine. I´m fine. I´ll get it. You´ll see.

THAT HIPSTER COFFEE SHOP

GIVE A BOOK BY AN INDIE AUTHOR A SHOUTOUT

Well, this is awkward... I don´t read many indie authors, not at all really. But this is why I started this blog. So do you have any recommendations for me, pretty please?

OOPS! I ACCIDENTALLY GOT DECAF

NAME A BOOK YOU WERE EXPECTING MORE FROM

The Lunar Chronicles have a lot of fans and there was a ton of hype around them. But they just didn´t really do anything for me. I thought Cinder was okay, I LOVED Scarlet, but Cress was just boring and I skipped a lot of big parts, including the end so I could read the final page and be done (I know, I know, I should be called a criminal, but I know you´ve done this too and don´t even deny it)

THE PERFECT BLEND

NAME A BOOK OR SERIES THAT WAS BOTH BITTER AND SWEET, BUT ULTIMATELY SATISFYING

I mean, all of Cassandra Clare´s book are like this. But The Infernal Devices trilogy was overall AMAZING, though it had it´s bad parts. It was bitter, it was sweet, and that´s what makes it soooo GOOD. How could you ever go wrong with a Herondale?

CHAI TEA

NAME A BOOK OR SERIES THAT MAKES YOU DREAM OF FAR OFF PLACES

I love the whole atmosphere in The Wrath and the Dawn duology and the Middle Eastern vibes put me in a very travel-ish mood. The story was obviously also really good and that´s exactly how it got the honour of being in this tag.

EARL GREY

NAME YOUR FAVOURITE CLASSIC

I shall be very basic and say Pride and Prejudice because seriously guys MR DARCYYYYYY. And ELIZABETH. He was the cutest and she was the most badass woman, especially for those times. It is kind of a universal favourite but I haven´t read many classics so I´ll need to expand my knowledge before giving another answer.

This was it. Hope you enjoyed it. I worked on it a full week because school AND I just got a Netflix account.
